डीएम के व्यवहार से नाराज बिहार राजस्व सेवा संघ ने सामूहिक अवकाश पर जाने का निर्णय लिया और शनिवार की सुबह से अंचलाधिकारी व राजस्व कर्मचारी काली पट्टी बांधकर डीएम कार्यालय के समक्ष अनिश्चितकालीन धरना पर बैठ गए।

शुक्रवार को वैशाली डीएम यशपाल मीना ने जिले के सभी अंचलाधिकारियों व राजस्व कर्मचारियों की समीक्षा बैठक बुलाई, जिसमें एनओसी से संबंधित कार्यों में हो रही देरी पर नाराजगी जताई गई। बैठक में एनओसी नहीं देने पर डीएम को कड़ी फटकार लगाई गई। कुछ कर्मचारियों का आरोप है कि बैठक के दौरान डीएम ने अभद्र भाषा का प्रयोग किया और जेल भेजने की धमकी दी। इसके बाद डीएम के आदेश पर सदर अंचल के दो कर्मचारियों को पुलिस ने गिरफ्तार कर लिया, जिन्हें कुछ घंटे बाद छोड़ दिया गया।

पहले भी लगे थे आरोप

अंचल अधिकारी और राजस्व कर्मियों ने आरोप लगाया कि डीएम जब नवादा में पदस्थापित थे, तब भी वे अधिकारियों के साथ दुर्व्यवहार करते थे। कर्मचारियों का कहना है कि वे दिन-रात प्रशासनिक आदेशों का पालन करते हैं, फिर भी उनके साथ इतना अपमानजनक व्यवहार किया जा रहा है। हाजीपुर सदर अंचल अधिकारी ने कहा, हम डीएम साहब के आदेश पर दिन-रात काम करते हैं, लेकिन एनओसी के मामले में समीक्षा बैठक के दौरान हमें गालियां सुननी पड़ी और जेल भेजने की धमकी मिली।

कर्मचारियों का यह विरोध उनके स्वाभिमान और कार्यकुशलता से जुड़े मुद्दों को लेकर है और उन्होंने अनिश्चितकालीन धरना जारी रखने की घोषणा की है।

Meanwhile, Sadar SDO Rambabu tried to convince the officers, but the protest continued.Earlier allegations also surfacedThe circle officer and revenue personnel alleged that even when the DM was posted in Nawada, he used to misbehave with the officers. The employees say that they follow the administrative orders day and night, yet they are being treated so disrespectfully. Hajipur Sadar Circle Officer said, we work day and night on the orders of DM sahab, but during the review meeting in the matter of NOC, we had to listen to abuses and got threats of being sent to jail.This protest of the employees is regarding the issues related to their self-respect and efficiency and they have announced to continue the protest indefinitely.
